Spotlight Challenge Feb. 15th - Mar. 14th

It's time for another gallery spotlight challenge!! Can you tell I'm excited?!?! There's just so many different galleries that I'd like to choose to spotlight! We'll be spotlighting the beautiful gallery of tripmom06 this month! (and get to see some absolutely adorable pictures of her triplets in the process to ooohh & aaaah over )

The idea of a "scraplift" is not to make an exact copy of someone else's layout, but to simply use it to gain inspiration from. Please browse tripmom's gallery and choose one (or more!) layout to scraplift. It could be as simple as using the same color scheme, kit, or theme - or as detailed as matching the placement of all of the elements in the layout. The main thing to remember is to have fun with it! Take a moment to leave tripmom some comments while you're browsing her gallery.

I'm brand new at this, and this is my first layout ever!

Unfortunately it didn't end up looking much like the inspiration, 18 months: http://www.stoneaccentsstudio.com/ga...24&ppuser=2215 but I'm still a little bit proud of it.

This was so fun (and addicting)! This challenge, with it's beautiful reward kit, got me to start digital scrapping which I've been meaning to do for a long time.

p.s. could someone direct me to a tutorial on how to put links on these boards that just look like words and not the full www. address? TIA!!

WOW! Excellent job for your 1st layout ever!

When you want to shorten the address, type in the name such as "15 months" in your reply section. Then highlight over it and click on the "insert link" button right above (looks like the world w/ a little lock thing). A pop up box will appear at the top and then you paste in the http address in there. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Thanks for the "tutorial" on how to get the link associated with the title or other words instead of the http.... - I had been wondering the same thing!
